The National Brewery Heritage Trust has received its first grant towards the cost of the on-line archive project which was the subject of an earlier post.
The Consolidated Charity of Burton has provided the Trust with a grant of £10,000 towards the project.
In welcoming this grant Trust Chairman, Harry White commented that the sum granted gave The Trust an excellent start in its quest to raise around £50,000 to complete the project and thanked the Consolidated Charity for their contribution to the future enablement of access for all to the wealth of information stored in the Burton on Trent Archives.
