Transport played an important part in the evolution of the brewing industry. Horse-drawn drays through to more modern-day vehicles can all be found at the National Brewery Centre.
The Brewing Experience houses a fine collection of vehicles, that includes delivery wagons, fire trucks, a double-decker bus and special promotional vehicles, such as a 1920s Daimler bottle car that was built to deliver beer to pubs for promotional purposes.
This unique collection provides an intriguing and fascinating element to your visit to The Brewing Experience. The vehicles are looked after by a team of dedicated volunteers and new recruits are always welcomed.
A Vintage Years Festival on 29-30 June takes place at the NBC. It is a celebration of the lifestyles, fashion music and classic cars of the 40s, 50s and 60s. On display there will be WW2 vintage vehicles, classic cars from the 50s and 60s courtesy of Claymills and Stoke on Trent classic car clubs.
